GETTING TO THE GDOP!
We’re so excited about what God is doing! He’s gathering His people to be a house of prayer for all nations. We can join Him and be a part of His great work!

Here are six important things to note for getting to the GDOP on Sunday 11th May 2008:

WHEN SHOULD I BE THERE?

  1. Be there early! We’re expecting a crowd! If you could be seated by 2.30 pm (for 1st Session) or 7:00pm (for 2nd Session) it would be marvellous! Come early to pray and prepare your heart!
  2. We appeal to all churches to let their members know that reservation of seats is NOT ALLOWED. Instead, we encourage everyone to come early. If they want to sit together, we suggest they come together as a group.

GETTING THERE

  1. There are at least four ways to get to the Indoor Stadium:
  • By the FREE shuttle service
    These are available at the
Kallang MRT to ferry you to the Indoor Stadium. They will run from:

1st Session:
1:30pm to 2:30pm
(2:30pm is last bus)

2nd Session:
6:00pm to 7:00pm

(7:00pm is last bus)

(P.S. If you missed the bus, you’ll have to make your own way to the Stadium.)

Note: This service would also be available at dispersal time to fetch you back to the Kallang MRT (5:30pm - 6:30pm & 10pm - 11pm respectively)

  • By Regular Public Bus

Along Stadium Crescent:

  • 11 (opp. Indoor Stadium only)
  • 16 (both sides)

Along Nicoll Highway:

  • 10, 14, 70, 19
  • By Private Car

We strongly suggest you car-pool as there are limited car parks near the Stadium and will be available at a first-come-first-served basis.

Motorists are advised not to stop along Stadium Crescent or Carpark E outside Singapore indoor Stadium as this will affect GDOP shuttle bus services and buses carrying the elderly.

  • By Taxi

COACHES

  1. Some churches may be hiring coaches to bring your members to the GDOP. We request that you refrain from doing this as the area is under construction and several roads have been re-routed. We encourage your members to come either via public transport or use our free shuttle buses.

SPECIAL NEEDS/ELDERLY

  1. For those with special needs/elderly, we encourage the mini-vans/mini-buses of churches to alight them at Premier Entrance Meeting Point. Enter at Car Park E.  Normal coaches will NOT be able to negotiate this car-park. The mini-vans/mini-buses may then park @Car-parks A-F (see annex A.) Again all these are public car parks and are available at a first-come-first-served basis.

GETTING HOME

  1. How do we get home after the GDOP?

By private car
Please use Nicoll Highway to get to town, Guillemard Road, Geylang Road and Mountbatten Road. (Avoid Stadium Crescent, Stadium Drive and Stadium Road to get to Mountbatten Road as this will be used primarily for the public and shuttle buses so as to avoid traffic congestion.)

By MRT
Queue at the same bus stop where you alight earlier to take the free shuttle back to Kallang MRT.

By Regular Public Bus
Bus numbers 11 (Opp Stadium only), 16 (along Stadium Crescent) and 10, 14, 70, and 196 (along Nicoll Highway).

By Taxi
These should be available at the taxi stand opposite EAST Entrance at the foot of the overhead bridge or along the major roads.

We wish you all a most blessed time seeking the Face of the Lord at the GDOP!
