1. Where will the children's session be held?
The Children's English GDOP will be held at the Singapore Expo Rooms GH&J. Please enter through Hall 3. Children will be ushered to the event rooms after registration. They will remain there till the session ends and will remain in the rooms until parents/guardians have fetched them.
2. How many places are available?
The rooms can accommodate an estimated 250 children.
3. What age groups are accepted?
Children ages 6 to 12 are welcomed! We appreciate your understanding for the need to keep within this age group. Click here to register. Children outside this age group may join their parents/guardians at the main English GDOP Service.
4. How do I know if my child is registered?
You will see a confirmation message when you click 'Send' upon registering on-line. Please print this confirmation message and bring along with you as proof of registration.
5. Where should I bring my child on the day of the event?
You should access the Children's English GDOP venue through the Singapore Expo Hall 3. On entering Hall 3, please proceed to Rooms G, H & J at the back of Hall 3. Do rememeber to sign-in the children and to collect the tag that will allow you to fetch your child at the end of the event.
6. Will there be vacancies for walk-in registrations?
Walk-in registrations are accepted subject to space availability - hence we recommend that you pre-register your children to ensure a place! Walk-in registration is at the Singapore Expo Hall 3.
7. What if there is no more vacancies for my child/children?
Children are welcome at the main service and can stay with their parents for the duration of the event should there not be any vacancies left at the Children GDOP!
8. How may I fetch my child/children at the end of the session?
Parents will be issued a coloured tag with the child's particulars at the registration/drop-off counter. At the end of the main service, you may proceed to the Children GDOP registration/drop-off counter. You must produce your tag to fetch your child.
For the children's safety, you will be allowed-in to the Children's GDOP area in batches to fetch the children. Please wait patiently for your turn.
9. Can I stay with my child/children?
For the safety of the children, only registered volunteer facilitators will be allowed in the Kids@GDOP area.
10. Last but not least, a reminder ...
Please have your mobile phone turned-on to silent mode throughout the GDOP just in case you need to be contacted for emergencies.
